The 2025 Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program is just around the corner! As we continue to finalize the final reports from 2024 recipients, we’re excited to kick off the next round of applications.
Through this program, employers can access wage subsidies to help cover the cost of hiring youth workers (aged 15-30). Eligible employers include not-for-profit organizations, the public sector, and small private-sector businesses with 50 or fewer full-time employees. In 2025, we aim to support 70,000 youth across Canada by providing valuable work experience and skills development.
The program focuses on:
- Offering quality work experiences for youth;
- Helping those facing unique barriers to employment;
- Supporting skills development to help youth transition to the workforce.
