Following the success of its 2025 launch, the Canada Strong Pass has returned, giving Canadians even more opportunities to discover everything our country has to offer. From June 19 to September 7, 2026, families and young adults can enjoy free or discounted access to some of Canada's most iconic natural, cultural, and historic destinations.
The Canada Strong Pass was introduced to make it easier and more affordable for Canadians to travel within our country, explore new places, and create lasting memories. Best of all, there is no physical pass to purchase, register for, or collect. Simply visit a participating location to take advantage of the available free admissions and discounts.
Through the Canada Strong Pass, visitors can enjoy:
- Free admission to national parks, national historic sites, and national marine conservation areas administered by Parks Canada, along with a 25% discount on camping fees.
- Free admission for children and youth aged 17 and under to national museums and the Plains of Abraham Museum, while young adults aged 18 to 24 receive 50% off admission.
- Free VIA Rail travel for children aged 17 and under travelling with an accompanying adult, and a 25% discount for young adults aged 18 to 24.
- Free admission or discounted entry at participating provincial and territorial museums and galleries across Canada.
The Canada Strong Pass is part of commitment to making life more affordable while encouraging Canadians to experience the beauty, history, and diversity that make our country so special. Whether you're planning a camping trip, a museum visit, or a day exploring one of Canada's many historic sites, there has never been a better time to choose Canada.
As participation may vary, visitors are encouraged to check directly with participating museums, galleries, and attractions before planning their visit. I encourage everyone to take advantage of this fantastic initiative and enjoy an unforgettable Canadian summer.
Happy exploring!
