Another week of historic #housing announcements! Here is what you might have missed:

1. Our government launched Canada’s Housing Plan outlining how we will unlock 3.9 million new homes by 2031.
2. The Public Lands for Homes Plan will lead a national effort to build affordable housing on federal, provincial, territorial, and municipal land.
3. Investments to attract, train and hire the skilled workers Canada needs to build more homes.
4. The Home Buyers’ Plan (HBP) withdrawal limit will be increased from $35,000 to $60,000 and extending the start of repayment for those withdrawals from 2 to 5 years.
5. Protection will be provided to homeowners across Canada through the Canadian Mortgage Charter.

These measures are just some of the ways our government is stepping up to solve the housing crisis.
