Our government is committed to tackling challenges in Canada’s health workforce!

We know that doctors trained abroad often have to face long delays to get their credentials recognized here in Canada.

To improve the situation and to make sure that we can attract – and retain – the bright healthcare workers that we need to provide all Canadians with the highest standards of care, we are investing almost $2 million to help reduce barriers and make sure that medical graduates can join our healthcare workforce, faster!
