The hard work continues !
Our Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Honorable
Chrystia Freeland, has presented the Fall Economic Statement to update Canadians on the work that our government is doing to support them and to move our country forward.
The new measures announced include:
- Creating the Canadian Mortgage Charter to help Canadians who are at financial risk due to the cost of their mortgage ;
- Investing $20 billion in financing to build new rental housing ;
- Strengthening competition in Canada, which means lower prices and more choice ;
- And much more !
These measures will allow us to build more housing and support a strong middle class, securing a prosperous future for the hard-working people of Saint-Léonard-Saint-Michel and across Canada.
