As part of its Healthy Eating Strategy, Health Canada intends to amend the Food and Drug Regulations to restrict advertising to children of foods that contribute to excess intakes of sodium, sugars and saturated fat.
The policy change proposed is a targeted approach that focuses on television and digital media.
Every Canadian is invited to participate and to give their feedback on the proposed regulation changes! You have until June 12th to participate and offer your thoughts on this proposed policy update.
