Our Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Chrystia Freeland, announced the new budget for 2023-2024 !
It showcases our government’s priorities and gives us the necessary means to deliver results for all Canadians. We will continue to :
- be fiscally responsible;
- support the Canadians who need it most with the cost of living;
- strengthen our universal public health care system, including the creation of a brand new national dental care program
- build a carbo-neutral and prosperous economy that will create good jobs across the country.
These ambitious, targeted and efficient measures will allow us to create an economy that works for every Canadian. Because as stated by Minister Freeland, ‘investing in Canadians means investing in our economy.’
